COOL Caledon would like to express our sincere gratitude to the following organizations and individuals who have so generously donated money or time to making our work possible.
Thank You!
Husky Injection Molding Systems Inc. and The Schad Foundation are our lead private sector contributors.
Husky and Schad enabled the creation of this taskforce and the COOL Caledon program with a major donation to the Town of Caledon.
The Town of Caledon is the official sponsor of the COOL Caledon taskforce. Office space, meeting facilities, phone and general office support is available to Trevor Gilbert and COOL Caledon volunteers. Our twice-monthly meetings are held in Town facilities. The Town also pays a portion of Trevors salary and has contributed a sum of money for COOL Caledon to manage a Municipal Building Retrofit for energy efficiency.
Green Municipal Enabling Fund (GMEF) is a fund administered by the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) and funded by the Federal Government. With leadership from the Town of Caledon, COOL Caledon applied to and received a grant from GMEF to develop a local action plan to reduce emissions of greenhouse gas, smog, and other harmful air pollutants.
